Refund Policy (Widerrufsbelehrung / Right of Withdrawal)

Thank you for choosing Apka German School, located at 36275 Kirchheim, Germany. This Refund Policy explains your rights regarding cancellations and refunds for our German language courses and mobile app.

1. General

This policy applies to all purchases made via www.apkagermanschool.com or the mobile app (available on Google Play and the Apple App Store).

2. Digital Content (App Purchases)

When you purchase and download our App or digital learning materials, you immediately gain full access to the content.

According to § 356 (5) BGB, your right of withdrawal expires once:
  • You have started downloading or accessing the digital content, and
  • You have expressly agreed that we may begin delivery immediately, and
  • You have confirmed that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

Therefore:
  • No refunds are provided once the App has been downloaded or accessed.
  • If you have not yet accessed or activated the App, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.

For purchases made via app stores, their individual refund policies apply:

3. Online Courses and Live Classes

When you book a live or online German course, a contract for educational services is created.
  • If you cancel before the course starts, you will receive a full refund.
  • If the course has already started, refunds are calculated as follows:
  • o Before the first class: full refund.
    o After the first class: 75% refund.
    o After two or more classes: no refund, as the service has begun with your consent.
  • If you fail to attend a booked class without cancellation, no refund will be issued.

You may reschedule a class if you notify us at least 24 hours before the session.
If a class or course is cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund or credit for future use.

4. Exceptions to Withdrawal

Your right of withdrawal does not apply in the following cases:
  • Services that have been fully performed (completed courses or classes).
  • Services that have been fully performed (completed courses or classes).
  • Services that have been fully performed (completed courses or classes).

6. Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days using the same payment method you used for purchase.
